Like many Sadlers from the 1980s/90s my Sadler 34 is fitted with cast aluminium stanchion bases. Unfortunely some some kind person managed to destroy one for me when coming alongside in Weymouth. I would like to obtain a matching replacement if possible. These bases were originally sourced from Sowester Marine in Poole, then later from Unipart Marine, Mark Dowland and latterly 'Wetline' distributed by Force Four and others. They were described as 'single buttress stanchion base 25mm, part number 142114'. Does anyone know a source of a replacement either new or second hand - or who may have the die? I would add that YS, Westerly and Holt stanchion bases are not correct.
