Sadler 29 Stantions

Just had a cold afternoon frplacing the stantion bases on my Sadler. Nice and chilly here so the old ones shattered with the help of a wood chisel. The replacments were the dead size of the old ones, so had to drill out the deck a tad with a hole saw. New ones replaced with Sika FC11, hope I never have to get them out!! I would have posted this on the Sadler owners forum but try as I might it will not let me join.

Good to know it went well. I have a set ready to fit in the Spring - long overdue. Did yours come from Mike Lucas or from Pete ?

Hi mine came from Haggis and one from Mike, all the same size but about 2 mm too big for my deck hole but the hole saw did a great job. I will still have to get a set put in one station as the socket hole is not upright and I dare not alter the angle in case I went through the side. Good to know that they can't leak to the inside. All solid as a rock today..
