The windows on my Sadler 25 leak and they are beyond the stage when Tolleys Creeping Crack Cure or other temporary measures are any longer effective. I am informed that the windows will have to come out and be rebuilt using a 2 part compound as rubber seals are not used.

Can anyone give me some advice as to what would be the best way to go about it, what 2 part compound would be most suitable and how one would apply it?

All help hugely appreciated.

i have just done a window job on my countess , i removed them and had them re-sealed by http://www.semarinewindows.co.uk/ i then refitted them using a one part sealer that i got from another window company from up north (they were to dear for the whole job) .

i'm sure se marine would supply the sealer if required .

overall they did me a good service , ring them and see what they say .

Can't speak for the 25 but on the 34 the windows do need to come out, frames split, glass removed, new seals fitted and frames refitted. Not too difficult a job. - Replacement seals came in two parts - one "U" shaped and one flat.
