We were much saddened to hear that Darryl Fletcher, the liveaboard owner of the Colvic Watson 35 ARLEY apparently slipped when returning alone aboard in the dark. He was later found drowned at Marmenor.
Darryl, a professional electrician before he went full time crusiing, will certainly be missed by the many people he assisted with problems. He also had many friends at Llandudno where he was a member of the lifeboat crew and a popular disc jockey.
I am sure that all Forum readers will wish to be associated with our sincere condolences to Darryl's wife Sylvia and join our hope that she manages to find a deserving new owner for Arley, which we much admired when we visited her in Mahon last sumer, and in finding happiness in her rebuilt life ashore.
There are some pictures of Arley and more info at <<www.colvicwatson.co.uk>> on page 3.
