SA - 7XL GAS DETECTOR

This is a simpson and lawrence gas detector

Anyone know of it?

If so, do you know if it detects petrol vapour aswell as butane and propane.

Is it any good.
Is it an old model. (I can find absolutley zilch on google)

Probably. If it is simply a flammable gas detector it will but the sensitivity to petrol vapour will not be the same as for propane and butane. Anything specific for butane or propane would be a fairly complex bit of kit.

Try it with a bit of petrol vapour and see what happens.
