I need to change the throttle cables on our 1999 Sealine S34. Can anyone tell me where to access the underside of the throttle quadrant? I am not at the boat presently - is there access from the ceiling of the aft cabin? Can the throttle quadrant be removed from above?. Many thanks.

There is a panel in the middle of the ceiling at the head of the aft berths that is held by Velcro and gives access to a void with lots of wires etc and that is the cable route through to the engine bay. If memory serves it is a bit of a reach to get to the underside of the throttle unit but I think you can access from above by taking the sides off the unit.

Your S34 is probably similar to my S37 and the cable was accessed from the cover on the top.
I had mine replaced with genuine Volvo cables but I think in hindsight there are better “ultra glide” cables around.
I noticed the guys doing the job ran through with a domestic earth cable first then pulled the new cable back with it.
