Well peeps, finally got her on the proper water and had a good trip to Hull.
Thanks to jkay for crewing...its always helpful to have an extra pair of hands on a maiden voyage.
Very uneventful trip and gave her a short hard blast when we were in the Humber.
38 knots recorded running into F3 poss F4 head wind, 3 crew members and virtually all full tanks
what will she do in a flat sea with no wind /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
twin D3 160's
as DRB would say "bloody marvellous"

BTW had one insident running over the wash of a ship when she slammed down quite hard....and the windows stayed in place /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re:Sitting on top of the world.

Nothing ever comes even close to that first trip out on a new boat(or new to you for the second handers among us) /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif,all that anticipation of a day that just never seems to come. Followed all to soon by an unnecessarily slow chug back to the mooring, just to make the day on the boat last a few precious seconds longer.
Defy you not to have a sneaky look back at the boat as you walk away.
