Have a SH 3000 plotter mounted at the helm. Would like my tablet with Navionics to talk to it, maybe even listen. Maybe just because I might be able to.

Anyway, is it possible in a way that my wife might understand and without vast expense?

I know nothing about either the SH 3000 plotter, or Navionics, but if you begin by Bluetooth pairing the tablet with the plotter, you're half way there.

Well, that's what I was wondering if anyone had done. I'm a great follower not always the best pioneer.

What do you want them to talk about?

Not being facetious, but an idea of what it is you're hoping to achieve by connecting them, and hence what data you need to transfer from one to the other, will help answer the question.
