Have just got SH CP300 and installed it and got it talking and listening to most bits of the system.

Have also got a Yeoman that is great for planning.

But, how do i get them to have a common way point list and to share, synchronise the lists?

Anybody got the experience to help on this?
Any other hints and tips for the CO 3RD most welcome -including getting the NASA log and repeater to listen.

Otherwise it does seem a wonderful addition to the boat. Do like the AIS, that is a real bonus once you get realistic alarm distances set

I don't think you can do that sadly.

Sure you can. Just wire up the nmea channel from the Yeoman. When you click in a waypoint, it emits the relevant nmea sentence and any decent GPS will store it. The only downside is that it comes through as just a number. I tend to send them all through as "0001" and rename on the GPS before adding the next.

I was playing with my SH CP180 the other day trying to figure out why my WP's didn't show on my JRC Radar.
Turned out that I hadn't got all of the correct boxes ticked for the NMEA Output port.
I just had to read te Radar book and see what NMEA sentences it could handle.
Could well be the same problem with the Yeoman.

Thanks, some good hints and direction. Looking for some sentences that might only appear when moving.

Currently the Yeoman and SH way points are about a mile apart. Different gps conventions?

See what the next leg of the trip, Fecamp to St Vast, throws up.
