RYA Website down?

Hi,

My web provider is Rya using Mistral. Some time ago they said they were going to use another service provider.

My browser (Firefox) is working well, but I have only once been able to access my emails in the last ten days. I cannot access the main Rya site, getting the following message.

Firefox can't find the server at www.rya.org.uk.

I assume all is going to be well, but if other forumites can access the Rya site without difficulty, I shall begin to get a bit worried!

Any information will be welcomed.

I have been unable to acces the RYA website when using RYA on line as ISP ever since they launched their new site. But I normally can with another ISP. That has me foxed.

I cannot access the RYA website at all at the moment so I guess it is "down".

I can acces the E-mails though by going directly to it HERE I suggest you try this and if it works save it to your favorites then you will be ok when the website itself is not functioning

[/ QUOTE ] You might have said that is the fullstop at the end that's effing that up! But I can't get the website up even using your link at the moment so "working fine" might be a tad optimistic.

Tried it again and it worked . Flakey as you said.
 
Thanks for all the replies. No luck yet, even with VicS's link. Thanks Brendon. I was not aware of Frapper. Will look into it as soon as possible. At least I now know it is not my computer at fault. If necessary, I suppose I can always send a letter to Rya by snail mail.

Must log off, as I have another busy day ahead on Pendragon.

it might have come up for you once. but even on broadband it doesn't load at all for me on occasions, so that suggests it's a bit flakey at the moment.
Firefox is irrelevant, it's about the server on the RYA site, as it's not a geographical problem
 
Its the same with these forums sometimes... times you click and it loads immediately, other times eventually, and others not at all (except for 2 or 3 refreshes). I know I am only on dial-up at home, but it happens at work aswell.

I'm not finding the RYA site slow since they relaunched it. Maybe my computer isn't as clogged up as yours /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
