I'm very suprised at how quiet the RYA have been over Peters Opal. I hope in the background their legal dept is working with members who have lost money.

Surely the foremost yachting organisation could come up with something.

Like what? The whole administration / liquidation process is very clearly laid out in law, and the administrator is legally not allowed to play favourites amongst the creditors. So what could the RYA do? is there anything special about this business failure that seperates it from the dozens of others going on every day? is it even a general problem in sailing of interest to most of us like the issue of booze / sailing is?
