Before I engage the RYA in this, anyone else having problems with the courses on the RYA Interactive site.

As a test, try the free Radio 'taster' course.

On Windows 2000 with up to date flash player, all works ok.

On my laptop Windows XP with up to date flash player, I do not get any of the course 'controls'

The flash loads Ok, but where there should be a button marked next in the bottom right hand corner, there is nothing, or any other controls.

Both computers using Firefox, but that is not the problem, the flash loads as it should.

Any ideas ?

I wouldn't worry about it too much, the test is dead easy lol. (and i have never done the RYA radio course)

That was just to test the problem, as its free to access, I'm doing the PPR course, & I want to do it on my laptop.

In response to the firefox question, yes, they are both up to date for each system.

Firefox is not the problem, its when the 'full-screen' flash player loads, no controls.

I'll have a pop at the RYA if I can find someone who deals with the technical side of the interactive site.

I'm sure it will be a browser problem. Firefox hasn't been supported on Windows 2000 and Windows XP for some time. Even Mozilla (makers of Firefox) suggest you should switch to the Opera browser on those operating systems.

BTW, the 'missing' buttons thing is quite common on out of date browsers.
