RYA and Coronavirus advice? Any ideas?

Taking a trailer sailor down to the slip personally would I think be acceptable
What does one understand from 'taking a trailer sailor down to the slip personally'?
It's a notion that rather gives me the shivers. First off what does 'taking a sailor down the slip' convey? I dread to think...What would you be doing differently if you took him there impersonally? Some kind of personally applied compulsion is apprently involved... It gets freakier! Is taking a better class of sailor down to the slip mpre aceptable than a trailer sailor or is this a class thing too? I thought I was pretty well up on Jackspeak but this is all a new one on me.

Yikes!

clubs were notified to stop operating over a week ago. On 23 March the government, stepped up measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus and save lives. All non-essential premises must now close. clubs, marinas and boatyards now have no choice but to close they are not on the list of essential business. we are not allowed to travel other than for food, medicine, exercise once a day and if necessary to work.

Just a few weeks and we might avoid a catastrophy.

Clubs have a duty of care to their members and to allow any organised event in the present climate is folly. Taking a trailer sailor down to the slip personally would I think be acceptable but a launch day with multiple boats and people is asking for trouble/infection.
The members, are the club, it only has a duty of care if it is a limited company, therefore a seperate entity.

Luckily our club has now closed- phew!!!
No cruiser launches for the immediate future. I'm pleased as boat in compound and not on the mooring so safer there.
