Re: Thats not an issue for MW...

Wow!

A couple of days heavy workload, check back into the forum... and 19 replies !!!

Only to find it's MedMartyn that's highjacked my post and started to discover(y) diesel at last !

The good news is that the boss has agreed to 'compensate' me enough to come off the company car scheme, that the net commercial effect is that I don't need to touch my boat money at all to fund the CRV ! (Must be all the hard work I've put in over the last few months !!).

No doubt I'll be trading it in for a diesel CRV next year when they launch them.

It's amazing how many forum members have crawled out of the woodwork and admitted to CRV ownership. But still no sensible answers about towing, e.g. will it tow a Rinker CC with twin Merc. D120's Alistair?

Must admit did look at the Discovery prices, but we borrowed a TD4 Freelander for 24 hours and it was *hite. It rolled and wobbled better than the Birchwood in an F2, and an injector packed up during the test. No wonder they're 112th in the JD survey!

Also, I kept banging my head on the roof, no climate, no electric sunroof, not much rear room. X'Trail ok. but too 'Nissan' inside.

So what boat do I tow then ???
