Found it somewhere as I'm looking for a way to have 4-5m pipe to wash down the bow and rinse the Lofrans Tigress windlass as per others suggestions to keep it working and postpone the next rebuilt...
Since I don't have and unlikely to have an anchor locker hatch from the bow deck, I thought this is a good idea and just needs a 4.5inch hole which is fine for me and the construction of the deck.
Extra use is cooling yourself down on the bow deck during suntanning sessions (that's for daughter and her friends...)

so, anyone got a kit like that or seen it in the flesh? is it okay or is it crap quality?

cheers

There has been a recent thread about a deck connector for a washdown kit (I contributed - that may help you find it) and one of the posters on there had exactly the kit you are considering.

Nice thought Vas. Can you get a water supply up in the bow?

Paul,

I've already done that when routing pipes around. There's a 15mm fresh water pipe in the anchor locker waiting to be connected to something. Cold water only though, so not for a proper whale hot/cold shower.

aha, thanks, found it that's probably where I got the link in the first place :D
Nice to see there's a bulkhead ss and plastic full pressure quick release option which unfortunately I cannot use as I have no easily accessible bulkheads around the bows, and no anchor locker hatch to store the pipe...

so seems like I'll just order this and try it out.

That one took some working out......, if you lift the hatch in the floor of the stateroom you will find a Seacock, open this, then throw the "wash down switch" and when you hoist the chain the small pump next to the wash down Seacock pumps seawater out of the chain slide.... Several issues

You will find out the impeller in the pump is goosed ( from being run with Seacock closed)
It only pumps seawater out
It does clean mud off the chain, that's about it

Hi John, do you mean the fwd cabin? I wondered what the seacock was there
Will have a look at some point.
