the top of the bolts on my beneteau 35s5 look rusty the rest looks ok can i change them myself i think this was caused by the bilges being full of rain water for a long time before i bought the boat should it be ok
I would suggest attacking them with a wire brush and see how badly corroded they are. You may find it's fairly minimal in which case all you need do is re-paint the cleaned up bolt heads.
