Rust on Keel Box

I have a Beneteau 285 with lifting keel. I've noticed there are some rust patches developing on the outside of the keel box- the stub the keel retracts into. Could anyone suggest the best way to treat this please?

Hi - me again. I assume you mean under the boat, externally? These rust patches occur where the swing-keel pivot bolt is located. I simply wash them off, rub back a bit and prime, antifoul and go sailing. R
