We are next to a couple from Middleberg .... I thunk I can understand why they are. here and not home....

We came through middleburg about 10 days ago - wasn't too bad - probably about 20 boats. Veere was very busy though - turning a 40' boat round at the bridge was interesting - fortunately the wind was on the nose so it assisted the turn, but the space was probably less than 50' wide. Pretty town though - we'll go back out of summer holidays.

That's nowt. You can still see water between the boats. You should try the lock at Arzal-Camoel on a bank holiday.
