Hotel has been sold to Bourne leisure and will become a Warner leisure Hotel over the next 18 months.
That means we will not be able to stop for a drink or meal once it turns into a full Warner hotel.
Only ever had a meal there once but it was good but pricy.

Why? Its still a hotel

Warner leisure hotel operate different to normal hotels. They offer adult only stays with an all inclusive package. I know several Warner hotels are not open to the general public, maybe they will make a separate publicly accessible area but it is not the normal way they operate.
I had a look through some of their website and some hotels have a part that is accessible so let’s see.
Not an issue for me but I thought I would post here in case anyone uses it when passing.

Very disappointing. When we overnighted at Englefield Green(?) by the big green warehouse facility we would stroll down to the Hotel for a morning coffee and to use the 'shore facilities.' Doubt if Warners will be that accommodating.

Italian Concept is a far nicer restaurant and far cheaper anyway plus you avoid the corporates and wedding rabble.

.........................and if you are moored there and use the restuarant, ask nicely and they will allow any visitors to your boat to use the car park overnight.
Have always found them to be very accommodating and not silly priced either.
Been calling in there ever since our very first the Thames visit 20 odd years ago.
Frequently call in when driving in the area.
