Hello,
Have just constructed a stainless tube arch/davits and the solar panels are going on top next visit to the boat. Have a bit of room so I wanted to put a couple of aerials up there too. I wondered if I need to worry about them interferring with each other "electrical bleedy stuff" There will be the output from the panels to the batteries @2/3A A gps aerial, and a vhf aerial feeding the AIS so not transmitting ? I wanted to run them all together but thought I had better ask for opinions from those in the know. Any opinions would be welcome. Thanks, Colin.

I cannot see any problem as far as running the cables together is concerned.

You mention 'a couple of antennas' but then only refer to one for AIS receive?
Depending on what the antennas are, you may need to consider the separation between them to avoid adverse effects on their resonance/radiation pattern, or overloading if one of them is a transmitting antenna.

Hi, Thanks for that sorry yes one antenna is for the AIS receive only and the other is a Garmin gps receiver so gut feeling is that I should be ok. Thanks Colin

agree. can't see an interferrence issue here.
