Run For The River

This last weekends marathon and the number of people running for good causes makes me wonder if we could organise a Run For The River event.

Sadly, I am physically no longer fit for purpose but must be lots of younger folk who could support such an event - perhaps along the Thames Path. Maybe even multiple events up and down the river.

Any volunteers?

Or perhaps have local businesses sponsor the nearest lock to hire a summer assistant on the living wage to provide supprt for the resident lockie - if roundabouts can attract sponsorship why not locks?
