Thought that this might be of interest for anyone who follows Rugby and also enjoys boating or cruising. -

Many of the venues are within reach from points on the river and canal network. Some might need a taxi or rail trip but (for example) the Stade Toulousain is right next door to the canal.

Slight correction - the Rugby World Cup matches in Toulouse aren't being played at the Stade Toulousain - they're at the Stadium de Toulouse, which is bigger. It's still within easy walking distance of the main inland port in Toulouse though . . .

This came up during our summer sea trip this year. While enjoying a few creamy pints of Guinness in West Cork we came up with the idea of heading to Paris for the Rugby World Cup. Bit of a hike from Ireland but would be a great trip.
Would definitely need a faster boat. ?
