Hi guys just a quick one,
Removed my rudder tube on the weekend from my hurley 22 and it has completely corroded at the top and bottom and looking to replace it, as well as the rudder stock.
Just a little bit confused on which materials to use.
On the hurley owners website most people seem to replace with a stainless tube which i can easily acquire.
But one of the old sea dogs down the boat club seems to think that I shouldnt have a stainless tube and stock because of electrolysis.
Just dont know what materials to use because most people seem to replace with stainless tube.
All advice is greatly appreicated.
Cheers!
