Hi folks,
I'm in the process of fitting a new cylinder on my hydraulic steering system and it has a larger stroke than the last one. I therefore need to fit some stops on the rudder shaft to aviod the cylinder before TDC (top dead center) and would like to know what the optimum/max angle for a rudder is (roughly). I seem to remember reading somewhere that around 30 degrees was the thing. Any ideas?
Cheers,
Crispin.
