we are currently moored up at cookham at the end of our 10 day jubilee holiday, and what a great end to the holiday it is - sunny evening, a few drink and a tasty bbq.
But the evening has been slightly tainted. As those whose know the path at Cookham, there are 2 small pathside small rubbish bins, both clearly marked up with a signthat ask's boat owners not to put thier rubbish in these bins, but use the
skip down the path not 30 yards away. But what does eeveryone do, pile their bags of rubbish one on top of the other and pile it down the side rather then spend the extra 30 seconds to walk down to the skip. It makes the place look like a mess. So after my bbq i not only took all my junk to the skip, but tidied up everyone else, much to the embarrased boat owners faces sat nearby!
Please can we all make the extra effort and tidy up after ourselves
