An old goat was going to drive for hundreds of miles to get a wee shottie on his boat and was also onto a promise - of a dram.

Unfortunately due to pressure of work - or from Dear Heart he was unable to take up on the offer of said dram.

Just to let him see what he missed - not the dram unfortunately as it was subsequently drunk - but the weather and scenery...

As fot the old goats boat. It's still there. I'm told he will get full use of it next weekend. Here's hoping!!!

Feel the heat

Kilmelford shimmering as usual in the hot sun of a spring day.
Anyway I got my work done - nothing like a bit of self discipline.
Thats a fine pair Donald!

I knew this would happen...........

Nice photies Donald. I spent all Friday working on her in a shed in Ardrossan, perfectly happy as the weather was crap and unlikely to improve. Regrettably, Saturday was stunningly beautiful and probably one of the finest sailing days of the year - lots of boats out from Adrossan, Troon etc. Ach well, there's always next month.....

A great weekend for a new boat - congratulations!
