Rubber repair

What glue should I use to fix the hard rubber which attaches the transom to the tube as per the attached photo

Would this do?

i dont think that your dinghy is rubber it looks like pvc to me and if so then the glue you have shown will work but you will also need some pvc primer to clean surfaces well before trying to repair it.Kieron

Yes if it is a PVC boat which it looks like. However you may find it tricky to get the surfaces clean enough for a good bond. You can find hints on repairs on the Polymarine site.

+1 for the advice on the Polymarine website ( see under "info") There is also a list of makes vs materials and some simple tests to confirm the material.

I think you will find that the pretreatment of PVC is to use the solvent cleaner for PVC to soften the surface a little

I would use something like CT1.
