Rubber block?

I have just spent several days trying to find a source of rubber block-easy enough to find pre shaped blocks made for boat trailers and commercial vehicles etc but what I really wanted was just a block of rubber that I could shape to meet my particular need.Seemingly a very hard to find product until I came across someone looking for same on some thread-the best response to which was a diving brick.
Checked this out and you can get these rubber imitation bricks used for training purposes at swimming pools for little more than £10 on e bay.
Just the job and a great source of plain rubber.

Did you get one of these bricks? I would be interested to know how dense the rubber is.

Not had chance but recall them from when my daughters were learning to swim-reasonable dense which means of course you can work it with a rasp sandpaper and the like(I hope)
Certainly one cheap source of pre drilled ready made blocks if they suit is
