You are quite right of course Roger... this is Mum and Dad's treat only in paying for the trip.... but she earned it through getting herself promoted to the most senior hand in her unit.... and she did that by being the one who always volunteers for things like Remembrance Sunday, Mayors ball, district team events, galley duties, etc etc, as well as passing a tough board.... so she deserves it.
Having read up a little on it, I suspect it will be an experience of a lifetime!

Not Royal Navy worst luck. Glad the Sea Cadets havent over reacted to the tragic accident last year.
Miss Morgana will love it. Recall going up the mast myself about 30 years ago!
