Think the wife had to cough up the 21/6d for our wedding certificate and the sandwiches afterwards cost about ten bob, cannot recall much in the way of media attention tho, as for the honeymoon ,,,what honeymoon ?

Now I understand why EA have issued a navigation warning! The thought of hordes of hire boats as well as folks moored in marinas venturing out en masse - all with much the same level of experience fills me with horror.
Unless EA wanted to warn folks off so that they can parade in their smart "Number Ones" or whatever passes for such nowadays.
There will be nowt to see - unless something is happening around Victoria Bridge as special excommunication punishment will be meted out by folks winding round by Home Park? Perhaps the happy couple will be escorted by the Household Cavalry to Kris Kruisers for a trip in Alaska??
