Royal Navy playing in Falmouth Bay on Tuesday

PORT NOTICE TO MARINERS NO. 13 OF 2015 Military Firing Exercise
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Royal Navy will be conducting a training exercise 30 June 2015.
The Royal Navy intend to conduct a training torpedo firing exercise in Falmouth bay in a position about 1 to 1.5 mile North of Porth Kerris Point on 30 June 2015 between 1000 and 1200 local time. The exercise will be supported by an observing helicopter and a surface vessel.
Mariners are requested to navigate with particular caution during this period and requested to keep clear and follow any advice given by the support vessel at the time.
This notice is self cancelling on 2nd July 2015

Seems a funny place to be firing torpedo's, but in the copy of ' Warships ' I coincidentally picked up today there's HMS Sutherland testing her onboard torpedo launcher ( it fires through the hangar side from a torpedo magazine on the Type 23's ) then picking up the non-running torpedo afterwards, seems they could be doing this sort of thing rather than let off a live running job then see if it ends up In Fowey or the Scillies !
