Routes through the Sunk - 2014 season

Greetings all....

Well it was only a matter of time before this years thread started on it.
We've already been chatting about it.
So I thought I would ask the question - has anyone been through lately? have the sand banks (and mud) moved much over the winter?

Well I haven't. Still on terra firmer launching on 30th April. At the end of last season there was one report which suggested the SW Sunk was/had virtually disappeared/moved. I suspect that the other side of Mystique's knoll which last year was pretty big might be the way to go and I aim to have a look early May. I would think it likely that the Little Sunk is unchanged (that's near the Barrow No 2). It's always been a nice flat area with 3m over it. As for the Middle Sunk - that's to the side (and clear) of the wreckage of the old Sunk Beacon, I haven't been that way for a couple of years and again that is on the list to do.
