Its coming up quick, who's attending/racing?

The rowing race will be the ninth rowing race held in Heybridge Basin for local charity's. This year, The Cardiomyopathy Association and our local Hospice, Farleigh Day Hospice Maldon. The race is five and a half miles around Northey Island, tidal! Canoes, Skiffs, Rowing dinghy's, Kayak's.

So far Tina, who started this event has raised circa £110,000:00!!! I'm so proud of her!!

Farmers market on the Sunday.

See you there?

I think it would be worth posting some more details, eg. date, time, contact details to enter, or a link to an entry website. Also a brief description of the route and anything that happens at the end, like a visit to a pub!

I cannot row as it does my back no good, but good luck with the event and I hope the weather is OK for it.

We usually wait for the Lock out, then before the lock in we start!!!! Watch out for us in the Buff coloured 'work boat' with a Yamy 90 on its arse!!!

Beer afterwards???????

Unlikely to be able to participate in the row for a reason Al, but still intend being there to help out any way I can. Fingers crossed for a good weekend.

Will do!!

As you know the road is closed at 'carpark corner', My house is the big white house on your right as you go past the car park entrance. My Van should be there in the driveway, can't miss it, the AT Sailing one. I will be out doing support boat during the race but will be shore side after, for a pint.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Al.

Well it is in the bilge. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Flipper operates on the KISS principle so if sunny I will use the high tech fridge - a bucket of water with bottles in and a cloth over the top and let the evaporation effect do the cooling.

See Mum, my highly expensive edumacation was worth it, honest! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Nothing better than the KISS method, except Louise didn't think I was sticking to it when I told her I was fitting a cool/hot box /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Women, what do they know about priorities ? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

er, Al, is there some kind of map or guide to show what's going on and where ?
Can't seem to find anything on the site
