ROUND THE ISLAND RACE-MOORING

Has anyone got any good ideas for mooring spots for Friday night-Cowes or
close by. I was hoping to use the pontoon at Wooton creek but they are
overbooked. I am not sure that we will be early enough to get into Island
Harbour. Any suggestions from you experts out there? (Preferably not
too far from a pub)

Not as far from Cowes as you'd think. Either anchor at Needs Oare Point and blag your way into the RSYC at Ginns Farm, or go further up the River and drink yourself senseless at the Master Builders. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Osborne Bay? You could always try the big pub up the hill...The Queen Vic...I think.
