Round Britain?

I would very much like to be involved in a Round Britain project. I could do it on my own in my little 6.25m Fisher (it's been done in much less capable boats before) but it isn't just the "doing it" that I am interested in. For me, much more importantly, I would prefer to be involved as part of a larger, team driven, project either sponsorship based or part of a much larger charity based project. I really don't want it to be just a private cruise because part of my interest in being involved is the team and project management aspects.

I have never been involved in any large activity based project before and so I am very much a newbie in that respect but I believe that I have a lot I could contribute towards such an effort (both on and off the water) and I believe in the "power of the forum" - which is a form of magic that can often make the unlikely happen! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If anyone knows of, or hears of, any power (rather than sail) based Round Britain (or larger) project then please let me know.

Also, if any of you also would like to be involved in getting a project like this off the ground, perhaps have some ideas as to what we could do and could possibly have something to offer then also please PM me.
