ps Neptune's staircase is hardly a slog.

Great Britain is the largest of the British Isles. Everything north of the Great Glen is divided from the mainland by water so is a separate island.

Unless you apply the same rationale to the Trent and Mersey, Kennet and Avon, Clyde Forth etc. so it all gets a bit meaningless /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
