water pump shaft has snapped. The Aquatug ‘April Rose’ is a recently re engined twin VP powered 38. The barge ‘Joie de Vivre’ is single engined.

After a late night last night and lots of favours, parts arrived from Plymouth?
Both boats are now in Amble, a day later than expected, next stop Scotland.

Tied up safely in Arbroath. The plan is up to Orkney weather permitting or turn west at Inverness and through the canal if the forecast commands.
The teams are raising money for Prostate Cancer UK.

Short update on leg 7 : we arrived... - Aquastars-on-tour

Update this morning from Captain Neil on JDV. Think the boys enjoyed the welcome to Arbroath. Cruise upto Peterhead this afternoon when the tide allows

A morning spent in Arbroath after the night before…….. visit to local RNLI and some smokies.


The team were joined by an extra crew today


5 hour run up to Peterhead. A big following sea that required some hand steering.
