water pump shaft has snapped. The Aquatug ‘April Rose’ is a recently re engined twin VP powered 38. The barge ‘Joie de Vivre’ is single engined.

Any Caterpiller parts people in the North East available today. Bank Holiday weekend and fantastic weather for the guys to get some miles done.

After a late night last night and lots of favours, parts arrived from Plymouth?
Both boats are now in Amble, a day later than expected, next stop Scotland.

Tied up safely in Arbroath. The plan is up to Orkney weather permitting or turn west at Inverness and through the canal if the forecast commands.
The teams are raising money for Prostate Cancer UK.

A morning spent in Arbroath after the night before…….. visit to local RNLI and some smokies.

5 hour run up to Peterhead. A big following sea that required some hand steering.
