Rough passage

Just got home after making passage from Littlehampton to Brighton. In a force 6+
New filter full tanks went like a dream fastest its ever been with a following sea & a 40mph tail wind . My 1st officer and I did polish off a bottle of Plymouth Gin en route . Any way home to tell the story it was a bit of a white kuckle ride!

White knucle ride? That wouldn't suit me, my knuckles are always red raw from where they drag on the ground as I walk.

I must say it was well watered down with sea water, fortunately we weren,t on the rocks either.
