If you are in the Chichester area try Barry's Reefing & Rigging Repair Service located in Thornham marina.
IIRC someone said he used to work for Rotostay

I hope someone buys the old stock of spares instead of it being chucked in a skip. My very early Rotostay still has years of life left in it, provided I can get any spare parts I might need.

The biggest problems might be getting a replacement forestay because, on the early ones, there is a D-shaped piece welded onto the lower threaded stud. Although I suppose I could always buy an ordinary termination and make a D-piece and have it welded on.

Anyway, I have often toyed with the idea of reverting to hanked-on foresails so I might do that if the Rotostay becomes unrepairable.

I understand that the rigging side of the business is still going; I am sure they will be best placed to answer any queries regarding spares. Details are on the WOA website.

My cousin used to work for Rotostay, I don't meet him often but did today ( sadly at the funeral of someone I liked a huge lot ), and mentioned the interest on this site, giving him the address here !

If really stuck, PM me, I may be able to get good advice from an involved engineer.

Sorry for not noticing your post earlier.I have a refurbished drum which i would gladly give for any price you think fair (keep in mind that i'll send it from Greece).I refurbished it two years ago as the bearing was wasted and after i went to all that trouble i found one unused through a friend and decided to install the new and keep the old one as spare.Change the forestay while you're at it - it can be easily manufactured in a machine shop if you bring them the old one.Good luck anyway.

Would that be for an EO5 by any chance?

I have part of a Rotostay system that I removed from my boat. I have the drum (minus the lug the tack of the sail shackles to), the foils and the top swivel. I don't have the bottlescrew. If any of those are of interest, PM me.
