Is a rope-75F62DD3-F7DA-4374-A7F9-CD58403CEEEC.jpg0839A7AB-1C89-4CE2-93C1-12B776475482.jpg408AC0FD-DCFB-4B5A-ABFC-998E0D14EAA9.jpgto-chain splice the same as a normal splice?
The yard did this rope splice to my anchor chain. It looks, to my untrained eye, as if the strands are not evenly loaded.
Does it look ok to the experts here?
Hopefully there are attached photos, taken from 4 sides to show the entire splice..
EDIT: I could only load 3 images. Sorry if they don’t show enough information

Buy some anchor plait, you know you want to. Look at the splices on Jimmy greens website, for some reason there are two types, maybe some one on here knows why, but the conventional one looks neat.

When I attach three-strand rope to chain, as for my mooring strop, I use a back-splice with all three strands of the crown knot going through the last link of the chain. It appears that is what is done in your case. This may not pass through a windlass. Looks OK to me but the rope is not in the finest condition.
