Room for 1 to join Cruising Azores, Madeira to Canaries

I am currently on the island of Terceira in the Azores. I will leave here last few days of June and sail to islands of San Miguel, Santa Maria, then to Porto Santa (600nm+), Madeira and on to Graciosa in the Canaries (300nm). Total Time approx 6 weeks.
I have one other crew member joining and have room for a third person. Must be willing to stand watch, take turns cooking and share maintenance tasks.
Sailing Yacht is a 20 year old Beneteau Idylle 11.5, a heavy displacement (11tn) 38ft boat rigged for ocean cruising. We are starting our third Atlantic circuit.

Basic knowledge of sailing
Good knowledge of Collision Regs (Rules of the road)
Determination to mix well with others on board

brendan,i plan to set sail for azores june 1.this is repeat of last years trip when i visited ponta,angra, sao jorge,horta and graciosa.would welcome any upto date information of significant changes in last 12 months.

Hi Chris,
There are 2 new marinas on San Miguel, one in harbour at Pont Delgada and the second one in Ville de France.
They are building a new marina in San Jeorge, at Vallas. They had completed the new breakwater last month but had not placed the pontoons. This means that the harbour is now sheltered and anchoring is currently allowed.
There is also a very nice marina in Praia da Vitoria, we have been here for the winter. I would recommend coming here.
