Some essential snagging work is necessary on the recently installed gates at Romney Lock and in order to complete this work ahead of the main boating season, work will commence on Monday 13th of April for 1 week. There is likely to be some interruption to normal passage through the lock, with possible delays up to a couple of hours very early in the morning (between 6.30 and 9am) and then throughout the day for shorter periods up to half an hour. We apologise for any inconvenience and will try to minimise this as much as possible.
