Hi Guys I am at thinking wintering around Rome either at Porto Turistico Roma or Porto Turistico Riva di Traiano
Does anyone have any personal information please

have used both and left my boat in Porto Roma for a couple of months a year or two back. No problems, reasonable rates (for Italy!) good security and facilties.
On no account use the marina shop for food and drink - outrageous prices which are halved at the supermarket 10 mins walk away.

We used Riva di Traiano a couple of years back. Helpful folks in the office, reasonable facilities, shop on site OK for essential but supermarket offers better value - bit of a hike and we found the bikes were essential.

What is happening about the €10 marina tax that the Italian government was imposing / trying to impose. Did this marina tax ever start?

Was it €10 per day or a one off?

not there any more so no idea - sorry. I did read a lot on here about it at the time but not sure if it was implemented or not.

Are you referring to the Annual Berthing tax - see "Annual Berthing Tax" ?
