The starboard windscreen wiper on our Rodman 800 Fly makes a bit of a tapping/knocking noise every two or three sweeps. There is also about two inches of play in the blade arm. Any thoughts?

You can re-engineer them inside but really its better to buy a new one.

Install the new one before the old one gives up completely on a day that you really need a windscreen wiper.

The two firms are on the opposite sides of the ria near Vigo.

The guy who owns Astinor used to design Rodman boats until he set up his own firm 15 years ago. He's in the process of building a second factory at the moment. Order books are full.

Actually I went to the Barcelona Boat Show to consider buying a Rodman but when I saw the Astinor boats I went for that brand instead. Just a personal opinion; Rodman are fine boats too.

I'm very happy with my boat and its handling in some of the rough seas we get on the west coast. (But if I had the money I would like a Nelson!!!

I need to say that Sports fishing boats, rodman vs Astinor are very similar, but If you look at the Cruiser line... Rodman beat astinor at each point...
