A friend's Rodman 1250 has a Max Prop bowthruster where it seems there is a problem in the joystick electrics, as the thuster will work if shorted across. I cannot find Max Prop bow thrusters through Google, so would be grateful if anyone could suggest a) how to contact the manufacturer or b) what the problem might be (we have replaced the relay).
Many thanks.

Has the Bowthruster been fitted with a 200amp quick blow fuse? Max Power advise that a 200amp slow blowing fuse and holder should be fitted to the CT80 Thruster if that is what you have fitted?

It turned out to be a faulty thermal cutout which we have now replaced. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
