Well feels a bit wild here tonight, just checked bramblemet and steady f7 gusting f8…

Still, got The Voice on and really appreciating how very talented holly willaboobie is… especially in that dress.

Bloody hell...... That sounds like a threat!! :)

It does! Certainly a threat in there somewhere.

We had friends round last night and was a 2am finish… and that included our 10yr daughter…what shocking parents we are. Anyway it meant a early night for us. Got to be honest Paul, didn't think you would make the long trip down for such wild weather, good on yah! Will say hello in the morning.

Sat on pontoons at folly last night, had the pontoons almost to ourselves! Bit bloowy:rolleyes:
The journey from Yarmouth yesterday afternoon was a bit interesting, and when I checked Bramblemet it had registered an F8  at the same time we were in Cowes roads, nice and quiet out on the water :D

Sat in HP after a fab lunch in the Ketch Rigger. Boats bobbing about and I'm not sure how we are going to get off the pontoon to return to Mercury, but we are still having a great day. Berthing on the Hamble has some cracking advantages.

Am I the only slightly sadistic person who loves the sound of the wind screaming through the rigging?? Makes me so glad I'm not at sea.

Rough seas in the hamble !!!!.......Swmbo,s going to love you !!!!.....NOT !!

I walked down to the beach on southsea and watched the rollers coming in and then watched someone go out, was a flybridge about 40ft and he got 3 or 4 waves over the bow and as he was going into the wind every time he hit the water the spray came over them, I hope as they turned west their journey was worth it,

I do feel for those who have to rescue people when you see these situations and think why don't they wait.

Dead right..... That's why I love the hamble, gives you chance to pootle when the weather is ****e and you don't have to brave the sea to give the engines a run.

Yesterday we were on a slightly different sort of boat: punting on the Cherwell with just ex-student son. The conditions were so hellish rough that we picked up an extra passenger who had been floating around in the water. :D
