I would like one of these for the stern of my boat

For those not in the know its called a rocket launcher and has some rod holders along with a little drawer and area for rigging up. Alot of game boats have them attached to the back of a fighting chair but I would like to set it up on the transom of my Rodman.

I could get an off the shelf one from the states and just bring it home with me next time im there but I would like to customize it for my own taste and application so was therefore looking around for someone in the UK that might produce something similar or even someone who could make it from scratch.

I would long to be able to turn my hand at making something like this but alas my hands are more suited to tapping keys than wielding chisels and the like.

So does anyone know of where I may be able to purchase one in the uk? or indeed someone that might take on making one?

If you try Kevin Bosworth who was the production Director building Atlantic's I am sure he could make this for you. He is an ace with all things wood.
Call me or PM for his number if it's of interest.

Another option may be to attach an overhead rocket-launcher rack at the aft/trailing edge of the flybridge/hardtop. The rods are stored up out of the way with no cockpit obstruction when not fishing. A 'loaded' set of overhead launchers gives the boat a serious 'look' :)

Thats a very flash looking timber table/bait board though, the ones I see are just moulded plastic/nylon-ish, with knife cuts and stains on them ;-)....

I think he is looking more for a piece of furniture than a utility item.

No sign of him having contacted Culchilo.
