The boats at Chatham at the moment and I fancy exploring the area this weekend, is there a nice place to berth
near Rochester for lunch (tide no problem) also is the any thing around Isle of Sheppey worth visiting,
and is that bridge problem. All these questions well should stimulate some Medway dwellers

Saw your boat at Chatham on Sunday, Looks very nice! I'm on B29.
You should be able to moor up at Rochester Cruising club, but it is very tidal, make sure you are on the outside pontoons. Rochester has a few quite nice restaurants, there is a very good fish restaurant called Barnicles on your right as you walk up the main street from the marina it will cost about £25-30. a head including drinks, they will do a steak if you want one. There are several others that will cost less, but its best to book up.

Rochester is quite quaint and is worth a look round including the castle, however I am afraid Chatham and Strood are not really worth a visit! If you havnt visited the dock yards next door to the marina, that is a good day out!

Barry I'll be coming down on Saturday first to install my new fridge (Bl**dy expense these fridges) and then
to take her out for a cruise on the river with a couple of mates. Your welcome to come for the ride. CGN

Thats very kind of you, but I am afraid I will have to take a rain check on your invite as the wife and I are out with friends next Saturday. I hope to be at the marina on Sunday because I have a few jobs to do! depth guage packed up so have to fit a new one etc etc! always something to do or replace!
