The BBC told me it was the "code to embed the video". Once I realised they were fibbing, I changed it to a link to the page. I would be delighted if you used your undoubted skills to embed the video for me, and a simple lesson in how I should do it would be well received.

They weren't wrong - it was code to embed the video in an HTML page. However, this forum doesn't let people directly modify the HTML, as it's open to all kinds of abuse. So there is probably no way of embedding the BBC stuff here.

I am on a course at the RLNI college and the boat in question is just out side my window, the crew are here for a shake down course and I think they take the boat to Dungeness tomorrow

Yup, it's a tenth of the price but can't be launched off a beach, nor does it have computer controlled seats for safe use in violent overfalls, nor is it safe in 12" of water, nor can it be beach recovered & readied for relaunch in minutes. But apart from the fact that it wouldn't be any use at places like Dungeness or Meols (on the Wirral) it would of course be much better value.
