Greetings,
I am a U.S.-based writer/photographer seeking to contact interested readers concerning a special research subject -- the eight members of the RMS Titanic orchestra who perished to a man on April 15, 1912.
As a music-minded person (one of my unfulfilled life dreams was to be a musician), I was quite taken by this quiet and unassuming octet and their selfless devotion to duty and fellow passengers at the very cost of their lives. Who can say how many souls may have been saved that night, who might otherwise have perished through panic and despair.
I am therefore hoping to reach kindred spirits in the UK who might shed light on the lives of Messer’s Hartley, Krins, Bricoux, Brailey, Taylor, Woodward, Clarke and Hume. Leads to appropriate additional sources of information in the UK would also be welcomed.
All responses will be gratefully acknowledged.
Sincerely,
Michael J Mooney
